New Player Guide
Welcome to NexusRO! Here's everything you need to know to get started.
Starting the Game
New characters begin in the classic Episode 10 Novice Training Grounds. The training is optional: the Receptionist can send you straight to a starting city. See Novice Training Grounds.
Once you finish training, head to Prontera, the central hub where most NPCs and services are located.

Tips for New Players
Sitting Regeneration
Sitting restores HP and SP faster than standing. After 3 seconds of sitting, you gain a passive regeneration buff that restores your full HP and SP over approximately 60 seconds. Floating heal numbers will appear to confirm it's active.
Autoloot
Use @autoloot to automatically pick up items. It respects your current bonus rates, including Bubble Gum and map EXP bonuses.
Check the Bonus Map Board
Before grinding, check the Bonus Map Board in Prontera (prontera 167/201) to see which map in your level range is giving +50% EXP. It changes every 2 days! You can also check online at Map Pool Bonus EXP.
@rates
Type @rates to see your current effective EXP and drop rates, including all active bonuses.
@killcount
Use @killcount <monster name> to check how many times you've killed a specific monster.
Talk to the community
You can chat in #main for general information or #party to look for a party!
Economy
- There is a dedicated Vend Zone and Buy Zone accessible from Prontera
- Players are automatically placed in a free spot when they enter the zone
- Favorite-tab items cannot be sold to NPCs. Mark your important gear as favorites!
