Leaving the Training Grounds

You can leave at any point. The training is fully optional and there is no way to return once you leave.

How to leave:

  • During Room 1: Talk to Sprakki and choose "Start the game right away" to be warped to a starting city of your choice.
  • During Room 2: Via the Kafra Employee Use the Teleport Service. She will warn you that leaving is permanent before confirming.
  • During Room 3: Talk to Instructor Brade and choose "I want to quit and go to the town", then pick your destination.
  • Via a Job Guild Guide (Room 3): Tell any of the job guides you want to change your job and they will send you directly to the corresponding guild.

When should you leave?

Try to reach Job Level 10 before leaving, as it is required to change jobs. It is also worth completing the Quests to collect all the free starter gear and EXP before you go.

Leaving is permanent

Once you leave the Training Grounds, you cannot come back. Make sure you've collected all your rewards and starter items before departing.

Valkyrie Quest (Rebirth)

The weight restriction to begin Rebirth has been relaxed: you may carry up to 100 weight (vanilla requires exactly 0).

All other requirements remain unchanged.

Before speaking to the Valkyrie

You must meet all of the following or she will send you back:

  • Base Level 99 and Job Level 50
  • 0 Zeny on hand
  • Cart dismissed (Merchant classes)
  • Falcon released (Hunter classes)
  • Mount dismounted (Knight / Crusader)
  • Weight ≤ 100
  • No unspent Skill Points

Once all conditions are met, the Valkyrie performs the ceremony and reborns you as a Transcendent 1st Class character, resetting your Base and Job levels to 1.

Blackjack NPC

A fully playable Blackjack card game in the Comodo Casino (cmd_in02, 188, 89).

How to play:

  1. Place your bet: Wager between 1z and 1 000 000z per round.
  2. Receive your hand: Both you and the dealer are dealt 2 cards.
  3. Take your action each turn:
    • Pull: Draw another card (allowed while your total is under 21).
    • Stay: End your turn (requires at least 13 points).
    • Double Down: Double your bet and draw exactly one final card (only available at the very start of a round, before any pulls).
  4. Dealer reveals: The dealer draws until reaching 17 or more, then stays automatically.
  5. Result: Highest total without busting wins. Equal totals result in a push (no gain or loss).

Special Rules

  • Aces count as 11 or 1, adjusted automatically to avoid busting.
  • Blackjack (Ace + any 10-value card on opening hand) is an instant win.
  • Insurance and pair splitting are not available.

Same-Sex Marriage

The marriage system now allows same-sex couples. The ceremony takes place at the Prontera Church and follows the standard procedure.

Steps:

  1. Form a party of two with your partner before heading to the church.
  2. Speak to the Wedding Staff NPC (prt_church): Both partners apply individually to register intent.
  3. Speak to Bishop Vomars: The ceremony begins. Each partner confirms the other's name.
  4. Exchange rings: If both names match, the marriage is completed.

Requirements:

Groom Tuxedo 1 300 000z
Bride Wedding Dress 1 200 000z

Tip

A Marriage Covenant item can substitute the Zeny fee for either partner.

Requirements to start:

  1. Talk to La Fenn: She presents a riddle: "Get younger than you are now."
  2. Accept the quest: This must be done before rebirthing.
  3. Rebirth: Complete the Valkyrie quest and become a Transcendent character.
  4. Level back to 99: Reach Base Level 99 again in your transcendent form.
  5. Return to La Fenn: She recognizes your rebirth and hands over your reward.

Miss it and it's gone

If you rebirth without first accepting the quest, La Fenn will turn you away permanently. There is no second chance for that character.
