A set of improvements focused on making the day-to-day experience smoother and more comfortable.

DirectX 9

The client runs on DirectX 9, bringing better performance on modern hardware compared to the legacy DirectX 7 renderer. This also enables:

Smoother framerates on recent GPUs
4K resolution support

No Fade In/Out

Screen fades have been removed entirely. Teleportation, @refresh, warp portals, and any other map or position transitions happen instantly with no black screen in between, reducing eye strain from the constant contrast shift between black and bright screens.

Walk Delay

The walk delay has been reduced to 100 ms. This character feel significantly more responsive, which reduces the sluggish feeling typical of classic servers.

Combat Feel

Recovery from knock-back is quicker, avoiding desync from the server for a smoother experience.

Teleport

Teleport Lv.1 skips the confirmation menu and warps you instantly.
A blue map marker is placed on your current position before any random warp or teleport, so you always know where you came from.

Display & Information

Monster HP is shown as a percentage next to their name
HP and SP drain from attacks are visible
Rare drops with a ≤0.10% base chance trigger a server-wide announcement

Case-Insensitive Search

The search fields in both the Storage and the Cash Shop are case-insensitive. You can type in lowercase, uppercase, or a mix and the results will match regardless.

Inventory & Items

All items are auto-identified on pickup. No Magnifier needed
Items in your favorite tab are automatically protected from accidental NPC sales
Item boxes can be opened up to 90% weight

Healer & Inns

Talking to the healer or resting at an inn heals you and grants Agility Up Lv.10 and Blessing Lv.10 for 12 minutes for 5 000 zeny.

The party leader can be changed without everyone being on the same map
Multiple characters from the same account can join the same party

Friends List

The friends list cap has been raised to 127 friends.
