Costume Position Swapper

The Costume Repositioner is an NPC that lets you move a costume you are currently wearing from one slot to another.

Ticket Required

Each swap costs 1x Costume Position Ticket (ID: 59000). Make sure you have one in your inventory before starting.

The Costume Repositioner is located in Prontera at coordinates 176, 176.

Requirements

  • The costume must be equipped in one of the four costume slots.
  • The target slot must be empty before the swap. Unequip any costume already there.
  • You must have 1x Costume Position Ticket (ID: 59000) in your inventory.

Swappable Costume Types

Not all costumes can move to any slot. The rules depend on the costume's ID range.

View-Based Costumes (ID 2 000 000 range)

These costumes follow a scheme where each headgear has a set of related costume IDs covering different slots and visual variants.

  • Head costumes (Upper, Middle, Lower) can only be swapped among the three head slots. They cannot be moved to the Garment slot.
  • Garment costumes cannot be swapped with any head slot.
  • The NPC only offers target positions where a valid matching costume actually exists. If a position is missing, it will not appear as an option.

Hateffect Costumes (ID 3 000 000 range)

These costumes follow a block of four IDs: Garment, Upper Head, Middle Head, and Lower Head. All four positions can be swapped freely with each other.

What the Swap Does

The NPC performs the following actions in a single operation:

  1. Consumes 1x Costume Position Ticket (ID: 59000) from your inventory.
  2. Removes the current costume from your character.
  3. Gives you the equivalent costume item for the target slot.

The new costume is placed directly into your inventory.

No stats are changed

Costumes carry no stats, refines, or cards, so nothing of functional value is affected by the swap.

How to Use

  1. Equip the costume you want to move.
  2. Make sure the destination slot is empty.
  3. Have 1x Costume Position Ticket (ID: 59000) in your inventory.
  4. Talk to the Costume Repositioner in Prontera (176, 176).
  5. Select "Swap a costume!".
  6. Choose the costume you want to move from the list of your equipped costumes.
  7. Choose the target position from the available options.
  8. Confirm the swap.

Limitations

  • You cannot swap a costume to a slot that is already occupied. Unequip the item in the destination slot first.
  • Garment costumes in the 2M scheme cannot be repositioned to head slots.
